Elm Farm Stud based in Southend on Sea in Essex is run by Karen Tapscott. Karen offers a professional livery and training service to suit individual requirements. A small and friendly yard with excellent facilities. Also on offer semen from Elm Farm Stud's Lusitano dressage stallion Pelicano (see stud horses). The stud is also the UK base for Spanish Dressage where dressage clinics are held by top Grand Prix trainer Juan Lecina Moreno. clients also use the stud as a welcoming base for their Andalusian and Lusitano horses they have purchased in Spain, to acclimatise the horse to their English way of life, sometimes having them gelded here, stay on permanent livery or temporary livery where they can have a training and bonding period with their new acquisition before taking home. Karen is also available as a freelance trainer / teacher and has good quality competition horses available for private instruction.
