'Over the past 20 years I have found Karen to be extremely talented both as a rider and as a trainer. Her standards are high and her professionalism is second to none. My dealings with her have always been pleasurable. I wish her the best of luck, and will continue to support her endevours.'

Debbie Gamon, Chelmsford

It is important to me as a novice rider that I have the support of professionals around me. The horse I have already recently imported from Spain to England has a lovely temparament, as all Spanish horses seem to do. However, the support of Elm Farm Stud in terms of the facilities they offer for stallions has been wonderful. I am very lucky that Elm Farm Stud can accommodate him as a stallion and even provide turnout suitable for him as a stallion. He will be gelded there and remain there until his hormones adjust and will continue to be turned out in close proximity with other horses to aclimatise him to his new 'English' way of life, until he is ready to be moved on to his permanent home. The atmosphere of the stud yard has been tranquil, accepting and friendly as well as professional. The facilities and support are highly geared to provide all that a stallion would need in livery, training and any other aspects that may be important to an owner and I have felt comfortable and 'at home' at Elm Farm Stud at all times.

I was delighted with my gorgeous 3/4 year old andalusian stallion Limeno, from Spain. I brought him home to my yard where he had to cope with children, dogs and living at the end of an airport runway and next to a railway line, in other words "traffic". He took this all in his stride and his temprement was exceptional. Having only showjumped before, I decided with my new purchase to try my hand at some dressage. For this I realised I needed some help. So I moved him to Elm Farm Stud and Karen took over his training for three months and taught me on more experienced horses. Karen then suggested it was time for mine and Limeno's first show. So we entered the Andalusian Society's Breed show at Hartbury, Glos. The four year old stallion section, which involved a novice dressage test and judging his conformation. He behaved impeccably at the show and went on to win his section and came 3rd overall out of all the 3,4,5,6,7,and 8 year old stallions, scoring over 80% in both the dressage test and conformation sections, and winning his ticket to Spain for the Championships. I was delighted and realised I would'nt have been able to do this without the help and support of Karen and Elm Farm Stud, and the back up help from Juan who visit's the stud on clinic's. Many Thanks
